In relation to the vector-borne diseases, one of the mos' important objectíve of epidemiogical studies is to estimate the epiderpiological assessment of each vector. The best estimator is the "vectorial capacity". In the case of Chagas disease, this assessment has been studied qualitative and quantitatively with infection, triatomine anq human blood index and domiciliary infestation proportion.
